CCCX Manzanita park, Prunedale

Great team effort on this day of really hot temperatures and loose corners. Results for all classes will be up soon. Here's Mary Maroon toughing it out on the single speed.

This is Allison Peck on her first ride on the new bike. Women's A race is quite a way to test an untested bike but it went well-2nd. place !

Brendan Lehman would be active in the top-5 with Ian Stowe for the length of the men's A  race.

Sarah Jordan and Zoe Wu joined Allison Peck on the podium in 3rd and 5th .
Its lonely at the top for Mary Maroon in the women's single speed class !
Eric Nelson rode strongly in the men's single speed A race to 2nd. place.
Greg Foy is the eternal second in the men's 55+ class but today he spent some time in the lead.....there is probably a win for him in the future. Rick Ortenblad medaled in both of his races-the men's 60+ and the men's B single speed.

Lobsters in China

That's right- Campbell Steers and Max Judelson got the chance to race in the C-1 UCI event in the suburbs lust outside of Beijing. Both riders earned valuable points , Campbell on both days and Max on the second day. This will allow Campbell to compete in the elite nationals for the first time. Max will get an upgrade in his starting position for the nationals and all upcoming UCI events. All in all, this was a very good trip for the two and a great opportunity to see the other side of the world.

CCCX II Ft. Ord

Lots of great results and podiums from the team-both juniors and adults. We had the numbers at this race, nearly every category had one or more of our team competing.
Both of our entires in the women's A race got on the podium-Sarah Jordan in 3rd, Zoe Wu in 5th.
Alexis De Zubria scored another win in the women's A race.
Michelle Perez overcame a hard fall to finish on the podium in the women's 45 + race.
The start of the men's A race saw Brendan Lehman and Alex Work getting the hole shot.
Josh Vahlberg had another top-10 finish in the A race.
Mary Maroon raced unopposed in the women's single speed race but will no doubt get some competition later in the season.
Eric Nelson managed a podium spot in the men's single speed A race in spite of showing up only minutes before the start.
Mary Maroon celebrating her second victory in the series.
Alex Work getting on the podium in 4th in the men's A race. Only national champions and one pro ahead of him.
The women's A podium with Sarah Jordan and Zoe Wu.
After the race Brendan fired up the grill and we were treated to tuna collars.....a real delicacy.

It might be only the second race of the season but the festivities have definitely begun-thanks to a great team and some of the best sponsors in the business. I'll put up more results ( and there are many of them ) as spoon as the CCCX site has them.
